Job Details: Energy/Chemical/Environmental Protection, Virtual Power Plants Core Job Responsibilities: 1. Track technological and policy developments in areas such as virtual power plants and carbon markets, and formulate the company’s technology strategy and product roadmap. 2. Lead the architectural design and technical breakthroughs for the core platform of virtual power plants (aggregation, optimization, trading, and carbon management). 3. Manage a cross-functional R&D team of 10+ members, build an agile R&D system, and ensure efficient project implementation. 4. Provide technical solutions for major integrated energy management projects and promote the commercialization of R&D outcomes. 5. Conduct knowledge empowerment sessions for the team on energy, power, and carbon market topics, and communicate the value of our technologies. Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Automation, or Computer Science. 2. 5+ years of R&D experience in the energy or power systems field, plus 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams of 10+ members. 3. Experience in the commercialization and implementation of virtual power plants, power trading platforms, or integrated energy monitoring platforms—from concept to full-scale deployment. 4. Practical experience in translating carbon management and power trading business requirements into platform functionalities. 5. Age: 30–40 years old; exceptional candidates may be considered with flexibility. Core Competencies: 1. Proficient in cloud computing, microservices, and distributed systems; familiar with power communication protocols such as IEC 104, 61850, and Modbus. 2. Deep understanding of virtual power plant business models, electricity market rules, and carbon trading policies. 3. Possess a mindset geared toward technology commercialization, as well as strong cross-departmental collaboration and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Hold patents or software copyrights related to virtual power plants or energy internet technologies. 2. Possess an advanced engineer title or certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master. Bonus Points: Experience in the following industries: Power, Heating, Gas, Water Resources, and Energy Storage.
